Birchwood’s Women’s Retreat has been rescheduled to a one day event at The Firs.

 

2012 Women’s Retreat!

Speaker: Debi Gavette

Theme: “The Changing of Seasons, Hearts and Women . . .”

 

  

There’s hope and assurance in remembering we are truly the “Apple of God’s Eye”. He is our “Orcharder” and the only one with the perfect perspective in our lives. God is sure to reshape and make changes as we grow in different seasons of our life. We can choose to respond by letting God work in us and flourish in the new growth, or we can see the result of struggling and resistance to God.

 

By allowing God to work within us and ultimately through us, we can be the bearer of beautiful and abundant amounts of greatness or “Fruits of the Spirit”. There are things to be learned and cherished when many women gather together in one place, because all of us are experiencing different life transitions and changes as we grow in time and in our faith with God.

Our Speaker in 2012: Debi Gavette

 

Debi Gavette is “Queen Bee” at Stoneyridge Farms in Everson, WA, where she and her husband, Derek, live with their 5 children. Besides being a busy mom, Debi home schools, is involved with 4-H and FFA, her church’s activities plus she handpicks 3-4 speaking engagements per year. She is an avid reader and values sharing her personal life lessons, good and bad, through her gift of great storytelling. She loves finding out how God has touched and made a difference to others as a result of hearing her stories.
